  • When and where does the show take place?
    The show takes place annually on the last Saturday in July. This year's date is Saturday 26th July 2025 at West Nerston House Showfields, G74 4NZ. What3Words://dream.zealous.builds
  • What time does the show start?
    The show starts at 9am for competitors and 10am for visitors.
  • Can I pay by cash or card?
    Both payment options will be available but please keep in mind there is no ATM on the show field. Some stalls may be cash only so we advise you bring some cash with you before coming to the show. The closest ATM to the show park is located at Sainsbury's at the Kingsgate Retail Park.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Yes, all well behaved dogs are welcome! Please keep them on leads and clean up after them. We also have a fun dog show and charity scurry they can be entered in.
  • Are there refreshments?
    Yes, a range of catering options will be available on site, including a variety of food vans, ice cream, confectionery and beer tent. There will also be picnic areas to sir and enjoy your food and refreshments.
  • Is the show wheelchair accessible?
    We aim to be as inclusive as possible and we welcome many wheelchair users and mobility impaired visitors each year. We have accessible parking close to the entrance as well as accessible toilets and a welfare tent. However, as we are a Greenfield site the ground conditions may not be suitable for all types of wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Please contact our coordinator by emailing ekopencattleshow@outlook.com for more information or if you would like to visit the field prior to attending.
  • Are there toilets?
    Yes, we have toilets, accessible toilets and hand washing facilities.
  • Are there baby changing facilities?
    Yes, we have a baby change area located at the welfare tent, next to the Info Hub.
  • What if it is raining?
    We are an outdoor event so we encourage you to be prepares for all weather conditions - this being Scotland we could see four seasons in one day! Keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress accordingly.

  • How do I purchase tickets?

  • Can I purchase tickets on the day?
    Yes, tickets can be purchased on show day upon entering the show field gates.
  • How do you pay for show day attractions?
    Tokens are being used on the day for show day attractions. These can be purchased from the Info Hub on the show field. 1 Token = £2 1 Token Attractions: - Large Bouncy Castle - Bouncy Slide - Small Bouncy Castle 2 Token Attractions: - Total Wipeout - Rodeo Bull - Digger Challenge - Climbing Wall 3 Token Attractions: - Pony Rides for Children - Horse Rides for Adults Please note, attractions such as The Farm Animal Barn, where you can meet all of the animals, Working Sheep Dog Demos, Tug of War Demo and Join In, East Kilbride Touch Rugby Demo and Join In, and Small Children's Play Areas are all free to use or spectate. The toys in the Children's Play Area have been kindly donated by The Watt Family and The Cuthbertson Family so please do not take these away. They are there for all of the little ones to enjoy on show day. The Nerf Challenge is a private operator and will not be part of the token system.
  • Is there parking?
    Yes, free parking is available. Our parking stewards will be there to help.
  • Is there accessible parking?
    Yes, please let our parking stewards know and they will guide you.
  • Where is the shuttle bus?
    Go West Transport are kindly running the shuttle bus from The Village Show Park to the show, and back from 12 noon - 6pm. The last return trip will be at approximately 5:45pm. It will be £1 per adult and under 16's go free.
  • How do I pre-enter horses and livestock?
    Our online entries are available at the following link: https://ekshow.lite.events These entries close on the 24th July.
  • Can I enter livestock and horses on the day?
    Yes, entries will be taken on the day. Please arrive in good time in case of queues. Equestrians please note that on the day entries for competitors that have not already pre-entered any classes will be £12 per class + £3 medical fee per competitor.
